Have you ever felt misunderstood? Like no matter how loud your presence is, people still don’t get you?
Sometimes the gap between how we’re seen and who we truly are is caused by our own silence. Showing up with a filter, with a mask, with a “just get through the day” version of ourselves. But truth? Vulnerability is the bridge. Honesty is the anchor.
Being honest about how you feel, what you want, or what hurt you is so powerful that it humbles people. It holds them by the tongue. But honestly, it pauses assumptions and give people room to meet you with grace, not guesses.
So this is your reminder:
Spear feelings.
Be honest. Be true.
So we can understand you.
So we can apologize if we need to.
So we can root for you loudly, proudly, and properly.
Because when you’re real with your people, they get to show up authentically for you. 💛
