Love & Astrology: An Aries Loving the Hell Out of Taurus
Let’s talk about love and the stars, y’all, because I need to get something off my chest. I’m an Aries, and if you know anything about astrology, you know we’re the fiery, headstrong, impulsive kids of the zodiac. Passion is our love language, and patience is… well, not really in our vocabulary. But here’s the thing: I have this uncanny habit of falling for Tauruses—and loving the absolute hell out of them.
Now, before you start judging me let me break it down for you. Tauruses, ruled by Venus, are all about love, beauty, and comfort. They’re the slow-and-steady type who’ll take 20 minutes just to decide which brand of butter to buy because “quality matters.” And me? I’m already halfway through the store, butter chosen, about to check out” But somehow, I’m into it… most of the time.
The Magnetic Pull
Let’s be real: opposites attract. My fiery Aries energy is drawn to the earthy stability of Taurus like a moth to a flame. They’re chill, grounded, and have this unshakeable sense of calm that’s borderline hypnotic. Meanwhile, I’m over here running on adrenaline and espresso shots, trying to convince them to be spontaneous and “live a little.”
But there’s something magical about the way they pull me back down to Earth when I’m floating off in a whirlwind of ambition and overcommitment. Tauruses remind me to slow down, to savor the moment, and to actually enjoy the fruits of my labor.
The Clashes… Oh, the Clashes
Listen, I’m not going to sit here and pretend it’s all love songs and candlelit dinners. Aries and Taurus are practically built to butt heads. I want to move fast, and they want to take their sweet time. I’ll suggest a spontaneous weekend trip, and they’ll counter with, “I gotta see.” Deep breaths.
And don’t get me started on arguments. Aries fights are like fireworks: intense, dramatic, and over with in 10 minutes. Taurus fights? Baby, they’re in it for the long haul. They’re replaying it back mentally. They’ll dig their heels in and refuse to budge, while I’m sitting there like, “Can’t we just agree to disagree?” Spoiler: no, we can’t. we agree to disagree.
But here’s the thing about Taurus: once they’re in, they’re all in. They’re loyal to a fault and will weather the storm with you, even if you’re the storm. And for an Aries like me, who’s used to crashing through life at 100 mph, that kind of steadfast love is worth its weight in gold.
Why You Ask LOL
Honestly, I think they balance me in a way no other sign does. They teach me patience—or at least try to. They show me the beauty in routine and the value of consistency, even if I’m rolling my eyes half the time. And let’s be real, their love of luxury? I’m not mad at it. Who doesn’t want a partner who’ll spoil you with good food, and the cozy vibes on Earth?
Plus, Taurus have this quiet strength that I can’t help but admire. They’re solid. Reliable. The kind of person who’ll hold your hand through the chaos and not let go, even when you’re being a little too extra. Or a lot extra.
Lessons from the Stars
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from loving a Taurus, it’s that love isn’t about finding someone just like you. It’s about finding someone who challenges you, balances you, and loves you exactly as you are, bs and all. And while the Aries/Taurus dynamic might not be the easiest, it’s one of the most rewarding.
So, here’s to the Tauruses of the world: thank you for putting up with us Aries and loving us even when we’re impossible. And to my fellow Aries: if you’ve ever found yourself loving a Taurus, you’re not alone. It’s a wild ride, but trust me, it’s worth every fiery, stubborn, passionate moment.
Xoxo, Drea
